   اک بادشاہ نے مرنے سے پہلے اپنے

 دونوں بیٹوں کو بلایااور کہا کہ میں نے اپنے ملک کو دو حصوں میں تقسیم کر کے تمہیں دے دیا ہے تاکہ میرے مرنے کے بعد تم خون ریزیا نا شروع کر دو بادشاہ کے مرنے کے بعد جو ایک بیٹا لالچی تھا اس کو خزانہ بھرنے کی فکر پڑ گئی چنانچہ اس نے رعایا سے ظالمانہ ٹیکس وصول کرکے خزانہ بڑھانا شروع کر دیا جب کہ بادشاہ کا دوسرا بیٹا رحم دل اور سخی تھا اس نے ٹیکس کم کر دیے اور خزانہ مستحقین میں بانٹ دیا چنانچہ بادشاہ کا پہلا بیٹا جو ظالم تھا اس کے ظلم سے تنگ آکر لوگ ملک چھوڑنے لگے تاجروں نے دکانیں اور کسانوں نے زمین چھوڑ دی آمدنی جب ختم ہوگئے تو خزانہ خالی ہوگیا ملازمین کی تنخواہیں بھی نہ دے سکا ملک کا انتظام بگڑ گیا اور فوج نے بھی بغاوت کر دی دوسرے علاقے کے بادشاہوں نے جب یہ صورتحال دیکھی تو ملک پر حملہ کرکے قبضہ کرلیا اور اس کو قید کر لیا۔ جب کہ بادشاہ کے دوسرے بیٹے کے حسن سلوک اور رحم دلی کی وجہ سے کسانوں اور زمینداروں کے حوصلے بڑھے، تو تاجروں نے دل کھول کر پیسہ لگایا، تو ویران ضامین آباد ہوگی اور کھیت لہلانے لگے، تاجر خوش ہوئے اور خزانہ بھر گیا لشکر آسودہ ہو کر اس پر جان چھڑکنے لگے۔ چھوٹے چھوٹے علاقوں کے امیر لوگ اس کی حکومت میں شامل ہو کر اس کے ساتھ مل گئے

عدل و انصاف سے ملک کو استحکام اور ترقی حاصل ہوتی ہے جب کہ ظلم و ستم سے ملک کے بربادی ہو جاتی ہے۔ لالچی شخص اپنے ہاتھوں سے اپنے ملک کی عزت و وقار کی تباہی کے اسباب پیدا کرتا ہے، مزید حاصل کرنے کی بجائے پہلا کیا دہرابھی ضائع کر دیتا ہے۔

 Lesson

 Justice brings stability and development to the country while oppression destroys the country.  The greedy man creates with his own hands the causes of the destruction of the honor and dignity of his country, instead of gaining more, he wastes the first double.
